Hello Swan Valley…… the first home tourney of the season is soccer and runs all day at the Rotary Soccer Complex at the west end of Main Street. Boys and girls teams both play at 9AM vs @RDPCAthletics , Noon or 1:30PM vs @Hapnot115, & 4:30PM vs @drcssclippers. #Tigers

Practices/tryouts at 5:30pm Tuesdays and Thursdays, Rotary fields.

Girls team:
First practices/tryouts at 4:30pm Thurs 7th and Fri 8th, SVRSS High school fields.

SVRSS Finalist for Parker Guy Memorial Award is Trae Bateman. The Grade 12 QB converted from slot back when his team needed him most. He mentored a grade 9 QB along the way while persevering through ACL and MCL injuries. Congrats Trae!

SVRSS Rookie of the Year is Grade 9 student Ryder Kushniryk. Stepping in at the complex role of QB he three for 85 years and ran for 173 on 20 Carrie’s posting 4 TDs and 3 2-pt converts. Bright future for this Tiger.

Varsity Girls Volleyball loses 25-18, 25-16 to Steinbach Christian to finish day 3W3L. Face Gilbert Plains Sat 11AM in playoffs.

SVRSS Varsity Girls Tigers lose set #1 25-22, then win 15 of the last 19 points (25-22 win) to split the match vs Calvin Christian from Winnipeg at the 40-team Neelin Dig tournament in Brandon. They face Rossburn at 6:30PM & Steinbach Christian at 8:30PM at Earl Oxford School.

In the other #RMFL semi-final, the @SkGenerals (Moosomin) defeated the @SVRSSSPORTS (Swan Valley Tigers) 33-26 to advance to the Doug Steeves Championship game next weekend.
