@amywelborn2 TBH, I think my pastor's shorter, daily Mass homilies are better than his longer Sunday ones. (This is not true of all priests, and I'm not recommending all short homilies, either!)
@jdflynn When mine were little, "benefit of the doubt" always drove the stat book. No matter how many opponents' gloves touched that ball, if you reached base safely, it was a hit, not an error. So, with no actual fences to dispute it, I would call a 4 base hit "going yard." Congrats!

@canonlawyered I once had a crew show up to re-sod on my whole lawn a week early, before the sprinkler repair guy came, and I was out of town. Later they complained that my sprinklers weren't working to water the new sod.
