Purpose: It is the dwelling place of the saints, where they will live with God, and it symbolizes the full restoration of God people for eternity.
Revelation 21:22 states, "I saw no temple in the city, because the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple.” This signifies that in the New Jerusalem, no physical building is needed for worship because God's presence is direct and universal, eliminating the separation between humanity and the Divine.
