@danno_omen I get this viewpoint but can’t agree - we can’t overlook where Xbox was when he took over (4 first party studios!), and also the impact of Microsoft who seem to have relented somewhat to allow Asha to reshape things. Phil made big mistakes under pressure from MS but saved Xbox 🫡
@MisterSpace3@UltraNstinctz@DiRRec_Gaming_@Nick101Gaming@asha_shar@ballmatthew Gotta agree, the whole “case by case” scenario means never ending speculation and negative press. Recent outlining of the situation by Matthew Ball immediately fell apart at the first question (regarding the new Senua game). If they want to be trusted when they speak, be clear!!
Octopath Traveler 0 continues to be excellent.
Good (surprisingly dark) stories are supplemented by stunning music and visuals. Still feel it’s not quite got the characters of 1+2. Final quarter of the game to go.
@TWyvern20477 All of the Octopath games suffer from huge difficulty spikes at times, so you do need to grind a bit occasionally. There are so many ways to approach each boss tho, lots of weapons, character combinations, status effects etc that what’s tricky for me might not be for you
@WeAwokenTheHive Still looking like a no for now… I do want to play the remaining Xenoblade games (I’ve only played XC3), but the switch 2 version of XCX is seemingly a mess and worse than the switch 1 version. Still not sure there’s enough there for me…. Maybe I wait for Xenoblade Genesis 🧐
@PeterP_1985 Yes all standalone with the same sort of overall themes/gameplay, but 5 is the most modern and the best one for me. Main campaign roughly 80 hours long. Fantastic series and worth a shot 🫡
