I have no office. No coworking membership. Some days, no cell signal.
And I've shipped more from this setup than I did from any open-plan, stand-up-at-9, Slack-all-day environment I've been part of.
The "always-on founder" is a performance more than a practice. Constant visibility is something you do when you're not sure the work speaks for itself. It fills the gap between the thing you've shipped and the thing you're trying to build next.
Going off-grid didn't slow me down. It made me honest about what was actually work versus what was activity that looked like work from the outside.
The founders I respect most are often the hardest to reach right before something ships. That's not a coincidence.
October is full of chances to connect with the Southwest Florida tech community, from 3D development and AI workflows to Halloween networking and real estate tech in Naples. β¨ π

July Recap: Big thanks to everyone who joined us! π
It was great seeing everyone ask questions, share ideas, and explore what FlutterFlow, AI, Supabase, and Firebase can do together.
Huge thanks to Tom Wolfe for sharing his experience and showing us how to build apps π
π¨ Anthropic just showed a 27-minute workshop on how to actually do prompts for Claude.
Taught by the people who built it.
Free. No registration. No paywall.
I've seen $300 courses that don't cover what they teach in the first 8 minutes.
Watch it and bookmark it now.
