Elliot Watt feels like the closest to a ready-made Steven Davis replacement in recent years. ๐ฌ๐ง๐
Press resistant.
Progressive passing.
Elite ball retention.
26, knows the league & is supposedly a Rangers fanโฆ
He should be one of the clubโs FIRST signings this summer. ๐๐ผ๐งต
@FPL_Marcello Personally see the value vs field in having JP for the first couple. 50% EO hurts and JP has scarred me too many times๐
I do realise this is a 2x 4.5fwd post tho apologies haha!
Which DEF do you prefer? Reckon it depends on Gvardiol xMins or just go ultra safe with Tark
@FPL_Marcello IMO, Szobo, Neco W & Bruno are ๐ฆ picks with so many routes to pts.
Haaland Iโm not taking on the field at 71% EO and Ndiaye/JP I feel have the best value @ their price points. Ndiaye could be Le Fee tbf.
Interested to hear which you prefer and why. ๐ค
@FPL_Marcello I am split between these 2 mate.
Tark has a higher DEFCON hit rate than Ballard, but if Gvardiol pre-season xMins are good then Ballard enables him as a piece of City defence at fair value.
Cityโs CS odds % considerably better than Everton over GW1-3, and Iโm strong on WC4.
Free subscribers can now get early access to model data before it's finalised for everyone else.

@Cammy26_2@FPLFocal Aw mate I love pre-season just spamming random drafts could spend hours on it haha.
Should probably go outside and touch grass at some point
@FPL_Noah_ Branthwaite could be eased back in injury wise or minutes managed? Also, I love the look of Vuskovic but Brighton usually play back 4 and also have Strujik & Dunk.
@FPLGundodona@fpl_tactician@FPLProp Do you think itโll be a case of Mosquera wide right and then two left-footed CBs?
Cali I donโt trust long-term but high ceiling as an asset early doors if anchored by other DEFCON CBs in my backline.
Interesting mate, heโll defo do very well! Are you leaving out Bruno/Haaland?
@StingFPL Correct.
The use of specific FPL models/tools e.g. Solio, Review are helpful, but general AI not so much.
Now with all the data readily available and so many engaged managers, the edge comes from knowing when to use the eye-test / late information to occasionally oppose data.
@FPLGundodona@fpl_tactician@FPLProp Appreciate that - happy with it for now!
Yeah I reckon Neco will excel under Glasner - Solio also reckon he might get a few more set pieces with Anderson away.
Yep, solid asset & very good value for 5.5M
I really like the idea of Calafiori, just uncertain on the xMins too.
@FPLGundodona@fpl_tactician@FPLProp Yeah I get that.
For me this is how Iโve looked to strike the balance - JP & Haaland up top, but with a good amount of value attributed to the more expensive defenders.
Not quite a full playing squad but Groร a capable 12th man.
Most complete draft so far IMO๐๐ฝ #FPL
๐ธDEF with favourable fixtures / DEFCON / involvement over first 5.
๐ธreliable assets whilst assessing GW1-3, open for WC4 if triple Chels becomes clear.
๐ธ11 reliable weekly starters + Mosquera / Calafiori.
๐ let me know your thoughts๐
This is a good point, however, there are a few DEFCON ๐ who have the same manager as they did last year, and will likely produce a similar output.
๐ก๏ธ๐ค
The biggest mistake FPL managers will make this year is assuming the players who got the most defcon points last season will be the same players who get the most defcon points this season.
@fpl_tactician@FPLProp I suppose it comes down to where you think the value lies.
I like a couple of the 6M forwards, but currently think Iโll get more returns for my money from the premium defenders with proven DEFCON hit rates, and start with Haaland & JP up top.
Still time for that view to change.
