So, apparently Haikus are the original Wordle.
They put the emphasis on particular words.
They make you think and they are also highly addictive.

My SS are getting out of hand. I only recently started to write them and can’t stop.I have ones about a dream, a jumble sale, a magical cookery book and today I’ve begun one about an evil troll king who may or may not be based on Boris Johnson. #writerscommunity Send help! 🤦🏻‍♀️

@KateEwrites Thank you, yes I love lists. I’m finding myself crossing easy things off, just so I feel like I’ve accomplished something though. (It’s not fooling anyone really)! I’ll get through it, it’s just very frustrating. Hibernation may be the option of choice here 🤦🏻‍♀️😁

#WritingCommunity, I’m stuck in toffee.
I have things I want & need to do, but my brain feels slow, sluggish and stupid.
Even tea isn’t helping.

To be fair, she doesn’t strike me as a reader. Readers tend to be thoughtful, compassionate & interested in others.

@ReneeGendron My MC, lost her dad in her early teens and her mother is equal parts overbearing & distant. She’s not unloved but has nothing in common with her & finds her irritating.

My cat thinks I’m crazy, I sometimes ask him if he’d like a cup of tea when I go to make one so don’t worry about apologising to your furniture 😊

One of my absolute favourite type of posts on #WritingCommunity is the authors who post pics of their own books , in bookshops and supermarkets. They inspire me to keep writing & to hope that one day I’ll see mine on a shelf somewhere & be just as amazed and excited 🤞🏼😊
