After 3,414 reviews, 12K+ check-ins, and 29K+ photos, @Yelp permanently deleted my account.

In Feb, they sent me a cease & desist claiming my decade-old email violated their terms and that I reviewed places listed on my media kit.

Then in Sept, they said their “system flagged” reviews during an investigation into paid reviews — and that the decision was final and not appealable.

For the record: I’ve never received any compensation, money, or incentive for my reviews. Every single one reflected my genuine, honest experiences.

Why is Yelp going after loyal contributors instead of addressing actual fake reviews?

🚫@VeraBradley does NOT care if you actually receive your order. Spent 2 hours speaking w/ two reps about my “delivered” package — proof of delivery wasn’t even my house. They told me to file a FedEx claim (only the shipper can). The investigation team said it was delivered so no refund/replacement. So, customers are expected to go door-to-door for THEIR mistake. #VeraBradleyFail #CustomerService #BetterBusinessBureau
