@miikey11_@MediumPaceDobb1 he only averages 34 in test cricket anyway and most of that was on decks flatter than what gay has been playing on this summer. He averaged 17 against NZ…
@NickFriend1@ohlookitswill_ Groundsman also admitted he was pressured into preparing the pitch differently from how he wldve liked given the conditions
@NoContextCounty the replies under that post are so clueless
as far as i can make out LCCC were fined because:
- LCCC have an obligation to prepare the best pitch reasonably possible
- LCCC DoC and coach pressured groundsman to prepare a specific pitch

@NoContextCounty - LCCC groundsman knew it wld be substandard but prepared the pitch anyway, later admitted this to ECB
- Resulting pitch had uneven bounce
LCCC are not getting punished becuase the pitch was ‘too bowler freindly’ or ‘failed to create an even contest’

@miikey11_ Tribe and ul-hassan batted very well against good bowling to see off the new ball. we then completely capitulated and started bowling absolute dribble once we lost the swing…
@hawkhampshire@MikeJam94154190@Connor_Jai9 Not exactly a risk, anyone whose seen him bowl (even back in age-group) knows he bowls absolutely rapid with no control. What we’re witnessing is the obviously foreseeable result of a terrible selection decision.
@JackRuleLD i mean they probs would, the standard of batting and bowling in the womens game really is not that high, but thats ok! standard in the champo is significantly lower than the hundred, i know which one id watch.
@dan_brigham missing in the ‘good ball bad shot’ discourse under this post is that batsmen very rarely get out playing good shots. If you just looked at their dismissals all batsmen would average 0!
