Today our 8th graders participated in the first ever SWMS Data Day! Students met with an adult to discuss their individual data such as their percentile projection, actual NWEA scores, and discuss what lifestyle changes they can adopt to reach their goals. EDUCATE.ENGAGE.EQUIP.

How do we grow our people? Teachers collaborate with each other other through professional learning communities where they discuss state standards, teaching and learning, and assessment data. Today, Mrs. Walsh led 7th grade math and science teachers during a combined PLC.

Today the Southwest leadership team gathered at High Point University to dissect data, brainstorm, and chart the course for the upcoming year. The leadership team consists of a cross section of faculty from the school who help in decision making.
