A huge thank you to our Community Champions from Reading and Slough, who came together last weekend to discuss awareness raising activities over the next few months.
Our volunteers get the word out about diabetes in lots of different ways, from speaking publicly about their own experiences, to handing out vital health information at community events.
If you live in Aylesbury or the surrounding area, we have a Together Type 1 event coming up on 19th September.
Find out more and register for the free event. Places are given on a first come first serve basis: https://t.co/bnqoDbn48o

Shout out to Lilly, one of our Young Leaders for the Together Type 1 programme.
In a few weeks, she’ll be doing a skydive to raise money for @DiabetesUK!
Whilst Lilly knows this won’t be an easy challenge, she said nothing is as hard as living day in day out with diabetes.
We’re running a survey to understand what kind of experience women have had when they’re diagnosed with gestational diabetes.
The insights have been fascinating and will help local NHS teams understand ways to improve care.
