@timmycb5 @WayneBarnesRef Well done to your son too. My buddy reffed junior football but was given too much grief from mostly parents. Did 3 seasons then quit. Reffing rugby now & much happier. Can get bad parents in any sport I know. Good luck to him 💪👏

Dear Charlie’s Mum, you should be very proud of him.

It takes a special young person to give up their free time so that others can enjoy the sport that they love.

And others need to realise that just because he’s a referee, it doesn’t mean he doesn’t love the game too.
