@RichardzEdy@Scopion98@kingFalaaGh@MatchDCentral Being found not guilty does not mean an allegation was “fake”, it means a jury of your peers were unable to be convinced of guilt beyond reasonable doubt.
Mason Greenwood never faced court because his victim (there’s clear evidence) didn’t pursue charges for personal reasons.
@soccersource It’s an exceptionally long tournament and the latter stages may be in heat/at altitude.
You can’t really suffer from tough preparation in those conditions either, their recovery will be good after sessions.
@AllThingsBlades@dannyhall04 Really surprised by this, he’ll get a good job elsewhere. I wouldn’t be shocked if it was a manager role at a lower league club.
@PolitlcsUK Farage is an opportunist with no moral compass whatsoever. It was painfully obvious that he’d jump at the chance to stir up division; he’s following the Trump playbook.
With that said, this case is important to assess carefully in terms of policing. Big lessons to take.
🚨 WATCH: Nigel Farage is repeatedly heckled by MPs as he calls on Keir Starmer to end "two-tier policing"
Starmer: "His response has been to appeal for rage. That’s his response to a father who lost his son & asked for this not to happen... it shows exactly who he is"

@tunkash@The_Forty_Four BEING FOUND NOT GUILTY IN COURT DOES NOT MAKE THE POTENTIAL VICTIM A FALSE ACCUSER.
The fact you’re trying to argue that false accusers are more than even 1% of all rape victims is disgusting.
Target my arse.
@tunkash@The_Forty_Four His employer literally lied about injuries, travel issues, the reasons he wasn’t in squads etc. to protect the football club and his situation.
His employer was in no way transparent and protected him, calling him a good boy.
What kind of world is it with people like you?
@tunkash@The_Forty_Four …desperately defend a multi-millionaire awaiting trial instead of a potential rape victim. You can remain silent on the issue, fine. Jumping to the defence of someone accused of rape is a big red flag and it says a lot about your character.
@tunkash@The_Forty_Four Do you realise how difficult it is to get a rape allegation to court? Women are consistently disbelieved or evidence is hard to gather.
To get a charge there has already been an immense battle for the victim. We await a fair trial, but there is some public record and we don’t…
@tunkash@The_Forty_Four He has his life. He’s literally being paid millions a year and was protected by his employer whilst his alleged victim has gained nothing.
@tunkash@The_Forty_Four Yes, sickening. If your first thought with any pending case of rape or sexual assault is concern for the accused, your concerns are in the wrong place.
“You guys”
“take a sit”
Educate yourself on sexual violence and spend more time in the real world.
@SouthamptonFC I think most football fans outside of Southampton feel that the club is classless right now.
They’re trying to limit the damage, keep the players that they can by keeping the manager etc. but they haven’t shown any genuine concern for their behaviour at any stage. It’s all fake.
@OllieHolt22 That’s not what the story is. Most English fans undoubtedly wanted Villa and Palace to win their finals.
Arsenal are a horrible club - arrogant fans, performative staff and players, the Partey situation; they’re almost impossible to get behind.
@SouthamptonFC This is their worst statement so far. Southampton fans must be having a tough time of it at the moment - hard to back your club when this is what they’re doing.
They’re desperate to find a way to keep the manager; that statement going public is quite hard to believe.
@EtihadPapers@SkySportPL It’s never the transfer fee that makes deals complicated. We want him at Sheffield United, but we couldn’t manage his full wage expectations. It will be the same for most interested clubs; a loan is more realistic.
@robstaton For sure, going to the cinema at the standard places (Vue, Cineworld etc.) is a terrible experience.
The smaller cinemas/independents are still full of people who are genuinely there to watch films. The London Film Festival is still brilliant if you ever get chance to go too.
@Nick28T Completely agree that fat shaming an elite footballer is ridiculous; let’s not put silly numbers out there though. He’s not fitter than 99.9% of the world’s population.
That’s around 800,000 people alive fitter than him - there are an estimated 1.55 million athletes globally.
