Congratulations to @GranataLab member Sam Weiss on her successful MS Thesis defense. This was an amazing committee and a great project. @BEAMvt@VTEngineering
We had a wonderful turnout this morning at the #ASB2024 Theia-sponsored fun run! Can you find the @Gator_ASB?
Thank you to all who participated!
@AmSocBiomech
Congrats to @GranataLab member Alison Henry on successfully defending her MS thesis examining postpartum load symmetry. Great interdisciplinary project between @CarilionClinic OBGYN and @BEAMvt Pubs coming soon! @VTEngineering@vtcsom
@GranataLab at VT is recruiting for a single visit (20-min) research study at BMES Annual Mtg. The study looks at factors influencing force and motion in healthy adults--sit-to-stand, step up/step down, & squat #BMES2023#biomechanics
If you are attending #ASB2023 this week, check out the MPASS and participate in a research study. We will be in Room 200 DE at the Knoxville Convention Center Wednesday through Friday.

The MAC (https://t.co/kcj3LAvhE7) is looking to hire a GRA for the 2023-2024 academic year in computational biomechanics and vehicle safety. A degree in engineering or related field is required. Experience in biomechanics, programming, and computational methods is preferred.
My recent publication with @TGuessMU, @BBlissDPT, and @SW_bme looks at the effects of motor-cognitive dual tasking on tibiofemoral kinematics during the lateral step-down. You can take a look for yourself here:
