An Environment Agency officer visited 101 cattle farms in North Devon and discovered 87% didn’t comply with environmental regulations and 65% were actively polluting at the time of inspection.

So for the second time this week, yep, the 2nd time, @AnglianWater fined £1.2m for causing pollution across three counties.
In 2021 AW paid shareholders £92m in dividends following a £1.94bn payment in 2018.

Who governs Britain?
As of today, and for an unspecified period, it’s two people you almost certainly wouldn’t recognise in the street.
Here they are.
A 🧵/1.
Totally Amazing family weekend in North Wales, stunningly beautiful and amazing experiences & service. Thank you to the magical @palehallhotel and @ZipWorldUK if you are planning a trip to the UK don’t miss out @visitwales (not an ad, booked & paid for the normal way)
Utterly bewildering Govt attack on solar farms. Solar is a win-win for energy & food security - it's *9 times cheaper* than climate-wrecking oil & gas (and much faster to deploy too), and fields with solar panels can still produce food. Who's behind these nonsensical Govt plans?
The Tories are today bringing forward a law to ban solar farms on agricultural land.
You see solar energy in 8 times cheaper than oil/gas & solar would hurt the profits of their energy donor pals.
All rigged.
