Across West Mercia Police, from June – July 2024, we’ve received 971 fraud reports in relation to Crash for Cash, resulting in a total loss of £3,938,624.1.

A prolific shoplifter was sentenced to a total of 16 months on Monday as he was already subject to a suspended sentence.

Matthew Schramm, 43, of no fixed abode, was arrested by the new Evesham Town Centre Team and remanded to court.

A Worcester drug dealer who was caught red handed with wraps of class A drugs has been handed a sentence of three years at court.

Brandon Scott, 26, of Baxters Walk, Malvern, was convicted on Monday (7 October) at Worcester Crown Court.

The teenager, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was charged and remanded yesterday.

A man in his 20s been arrested on suspicion of rape following our appeal after an incident that took place in Priory Park, Malvern on Sunday 4 August.

He was arrested yesterday, interviewed and bailed while investigations continue.
