Dina thought Ellie was dead, Ellie just found out Dina is pregnant and is deep in shit in enemy turf. The rage and passion to kill Abby just isn't present as it should be. It's fan service.

The relationship between her and Dina is just as important, but I wouldn’t say it’s the number one thing about the game. It’s about hate, revenge.

Even I’ve forgot that Ellie is supposed to be mourning for Joel but it just seems like they’re on some honeymoon vacation in Seattle.
