The City of Syracuse has closed the pedestrian bridge, located at the Creekwalk 1.5 mile marker across from Evans St and Maltbie St. The bridge is closed to all users with detours in place.
The Department of Water has closed Lodi St from John St to Butternut St and Ash St from Josephine St to N McBride St. Crews are on site 8 AM till later this evening today for water main repair. The streets will remain closed until repairs are made with detours in place.
The City of Syracuse Department of Water is working to repair a water main on North Geddes Street. North Geddes Street from Genesee Street and Kilpatrick Street will be closed for a few days for road restoration. Sidewalks remain open and traffic detours are in place.
West Kirkpatrick St. bridge over Onondaga Creek will be closed to all traffic beginning Monday, March 9 for repairs.
Pedestrians still remain to have access to the bridge.
Drivers may experience delays; Detours will follow Van Rensselaer St., Spencer St., and Solar St.
City of Syracuse administrative offices will be closed for the Presidents’ Day holiday on Monday , Feb.16.
Trash and recycling collection will proceed to operate on schedule with no delays.

Trash and recycling collection will be delayed one day on Thursday and Friday. Thursday’s pickup moves to Friday, and Frid's pick up moves to Saturday. The DPW yard waste drop-off at 1200 Canal St. will also be closed Thursday, Nov. 27, and Friday, Nov. 28.

Parking restrictions will be in effect starting Nov. 1, in parts of Downtown Syracuse. On designated blocks, overnight on-street parking will alternate and be limited to one side. The requirements allow snowplows to clear streets between the hours of 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.

I-690 will be reduced to one lane in the City of Syracuse, Onondaga County, from 9AM to 3PM on Friday, Sept 19th.

The Department of Sewers will be closing the eastbound lane of Harrison Street between Irving Ave and S Crouse Ave from 8 AM to 5 PM today for an emergency sewer repair. The westbound lane will remain open to traffic and emergency vehicles.
