#WATCH | Pune, Maharashtra | On the death of Ketan Vishal Agarwal, his father says, "They (Siya Goyal and Ketan Agarwal) got engaged in February...They were leaving for Bali on the 6th, four people were travelling to Bali together, but only Ketan’s passport got stolen. Because of that, he couldn’t go and had to return from the airport...Chetan Chaudhary arrived at the Lohagad Fort on a two-wheeler...The two (Chetan Chaudhary and Siya Goyal) went up together, hit Ketan Vishal Agarwal with an object, and threw him down from the top...The police were helpful and resolved the case very quickly. The local Rural SP, Sandeep Singh Gill, provided exceptional support; he immediately shared the details with us and arrested both individuals. Chetan Chaudhary was arrested last night, and Siya was arrested this morning. They are now being produced in court...If she didn’t want to get married, she could have simply refused; we would have cancelled the wedding immediately. Why did they decide to take such a drastic step? What kind of mindset do they have? Their mindset is so cruel that someone’s 26-year-old son could be killed...Society needs to take note of such a cruel mindset. Where does this ideology come from, their family, their upbringing?..."
Another day, another HR controversy.
A TCS employee with 4.5 years of service resigned on 14 May with a Last Working Day of 11 August. Now, he is allegedly being forced to exit much earlier than his agreed notice period.
If an employee is relieved early by the company, will TCS pay the full salary for the remaining notice period? What about gratuity eligibility for an employee who has completed 4.5 years of continuous service?
When will HR teams start following labour laws and established employment practices more consistently? Should the government conduct awareness and compliance training for HR departments of large IT companies?
The TCS HR stories continue…. HR Akash

🚨 Pune & Pimpri Chinchwad have witnessed a tragic loss of around 22 lives due to the consumption of illegal liquor.
The Food & Drug Administration has now begun taking action, but stronger and sustained enforcement is urgently needed. We urge authorities to completely eliminate illegal liquor dens and crack down on unsafe food vendors before another preventable tragedy occurs due to unhygienic food practices.
Pune and PCMC are among India’s fastest-growing technology hubs, but the rise of illegal activities remains a serious concern. Law enforcement and civic authorities must act decisively to ensure public safety.
⚠️ Public health and safety cannot be compromised.

The Goat knows it was never love for him.
He was fed, sheltered, and cared for only until the day he could be sold for slaughter.
The Goat knows he was betrayed in the name of affection.
The hands he trusted… delivered him to death.
He is not crying because he is being killed.
He is crying because he trusted the person with his life.

While we lost two innocent IT employees in the horrific Pune Porsche crash case, videos of the accused and his father celebrating are now going viral. 💔
It is deeply unfortunate that a 17 years 10 months old accused was not treated as an adult despite:
• Drunk driving after a late-night party 🍾
• Overspeeding a luxury car 🚗💨
• Causing the death of two innocent IT employees ⚠️
Instead of strict punishment, he was initially asked to write an essay.
His parents and influential people allegedly bribed police and hospital staff to tamper with blood samples and protect the accused. Yet today, many of them are out on bail due to money power, weak policing, and a broken system.
Justice delayed is justice denied. 🇮🇳

After nearly 10 years of service, an Atos Syntel Pune employee was forced to resign. When he refused, the company deactivated his account and terminated him without severance pay citing lack of projects. We request @Atos_India to follow the Labour laws and not do these kinds of illegal acts. We will further file a complaint with the Labour Commissioner office pune against this illegal act.

Sunil Dutt was responsible for the massive encroachment outside Banda Station (East).
Foiled demolition for a decade.
No one would have dared touch us if Sunil Dutt was alive”: Garib Nagar residents shattered after Bandra demolition drive https://t.co/VepiyNAyOB
This has been happening for decades. I have been voicing this out from the day I was working in TCS way back in 2008.
TCS cleverly planned the salary increments in such a way that none of the pay hikes comes from the balance sheet.
One year, one employee gets it once he/she gets a high rating. Next year, if he/she does not get that rating equally or better than previous years, TCS reduces their salary. That reduced salary goes to another employee and so on and so forth.
By this way, TCS efficiently manages the pay hikes between employees and nowhere does the salary hikes comes from the balance sheets.
Way back in 2010, when I voiced it in the town hall, they employed an agency to do the survey and even in that I voiced out my opinion. Result - just as any other survey they do, it went into the bureaucratic black hole (I’ll write about this in a separate thread soon - this TCS bureaucracy will put our babu’s to shame).
To sum it up, there is nothing new to be astonished at. It’s TCS’s way of life. 😇😇😇
