My Dissertation was on this very topic at UZ Law School in '02. I predicted this very outcome. This is now 25 years later. Imagine the investment Zim missed out on, the lost production & contribution to the fiscus?

The very many farm workers who were murdered & some who were 'lucky' just to lose their homes & jobs? Robert Mugabe flatly refused to carry out an orderly land reform programme & many in Zim's current gvt selfishly supported that madness despite knowing that it would ruin / bankrupt the country.

Plenty of the farms were plundered by ZANU PF chefs, including Bob, and they lie derelict today, after being looted & rendered worthless.

Zim's then much vaunted Agro based economy inevitably collapsed & the country has never been the same!
