Chief Legal Officer @Ripple and President @NatCryptoAssoc. Over 40 years of legal experience with expertise in regulatory affairs and complex litigation.
232,000 American jobs are supported by the crypto industry today. 💼
🔸 34,000 are at crypto companies.
🔸 Another 75,000 are at the suppliers and contractors those companies rely on.
🔸 The remaining 123,000 are sustained by the everyday spending of everyone in that chain: at grocery stores, clinics, restaurants, and beyond.
That is what an industry looks like when it adds $55 billion to the U.S. economy and $31 billion in worker income economy.

[SALT WBS 2026] Stuart Alderoty – There's a viable path to Clarity and Ripple supports the bill. Ripple is uniquely situated and has already received legal clarity.
[SALT WBS 2026] Stuart Alderoty – Crypto is having a significant economic impact on everyday people. More people in the United States own crypto than own dogs.
A @WSJopinion piece this week referred to supporters of crypto regulation as "the crypto boys." But that's not who the crypto community is.
There are 67 million Americans who own crypto today. One-third are women. More are over 55 than under 25 years old. They're teachers, construction workers, veterans, nurses, parents, and small business owners.
Crypto is officially on newsstands. 📰

🚨 NEWS: The National Cryptocurrency Association has submitted formal testimony to the House Financial Services Subcommittee on Digital Assets, regarding the Clarity Act and putting data of 67 million American crypto holders on the congressional record.
NCA VP of External Affairs @OnChainAli put it plainly: Americans are not asking Washington to stop crypto. They are asking for guardrails so they can use it safely.
73% of Americans support stronger consumer protections for crypto holders. With 71% supporting comprehensive legislation to close the gaps in current law.
The Clarity Act is a consumer protection bill: strong AML/KYC, real tools for law enforcement and state AGs. Leave it on the table and consumers are left twisting in the wind with the status quo with no clear standards for bad actors to exploit (again).
Perfect can't be the enemy of good. Let's get this done.
232,000 American jobs supported by the crypto industry. Across all 50 states.
This is not a niche story. It is an economic one. The @NatCryptoAssoc’s latest research maps the full footprint.
📣 NEW Crypto Research: The NCA's Crypto at Work report is live.
For the first time, we've mapped the full economic footprint of crypto in America: jobs, wages, and impact across all 50 states.

The Clarity Act is still working its way through Congress. Here is what you should know. 💡
67 million people in this country hold crypto today. Right now, there are no clear rules about which government agency oversees which digital assets.
The Clarity Act aims to fix that by defining whether a digital asset falls under the SEC or the CFTC, helping pave the way for more comprehensive consumer protections.
Curious how many crypto holders live in your neighborhood?: https://t.co/ubAizTnmNd
A vote against the Clarity Act is a vote to leave the same unregulated conditions in place to be exploited by bad actors.
We've seen this movie. Let's not watch the sequel.
Voting no on the Clarity Act isn't being against the crypto industry - it’s anti-consumer. It's a vote to leave crypto holders exposed to bad actors playing regulatory arbitrage.
The bipartisan Clarity Act is now advancing towards a vote on the Senate floor, and it is a vote for consumer protection. More ⬇️
Today marks exactly 3 years since Judge Torres ruled in the Ripple vs. SEC case. That decision was a major turning point and the beginning of the end of the prev. SEC war on crypto.
Court made it clear in dicta: XRP itself is not a security.
A lot changed since then to the positive imo, a more crypto friendly administration and the CLARITY act that is important to move forward for investors, innovation and businesses to provide the regulatory certainty needed for mass adoption.
1 in 4 American adults now hold crypto. Somehow that constituency still gets dismissed as a fringe. My latest op-ed on who they really are, and what they deserve from Washington.
"Only 27%." That is how one poll framed public support for clear crypto rules. As if a quarter of the country were a rounding error.
One in four American adults now holds crypto. That is 67 million people. Your friends, neighbors, coworkers, parents. And it grew by 12 million in a single year.
NCA President @s_alderoty has a new op-ed in @RCPolitics making the case for what that number actually represents.

On the road to clarity - literally!
Ripple's Clarity truck is out in D.C. as Congress works on the Clarity Act, which creates clear rules for digital assets and crypto.
Clear rules help protect consumers, support responsible innovation, and keep the U.S. competitive
Great to be back at @pointzeroforum discussing how a global company navigates international regulation.
Protecting consumers.
Disclosures, AML, reserve and redemption standards for stablecoins….all legitimate. We support and abide by local requirements wherever we operate.
Protectionism. Frameworks designed to lock out competition and protect incumbents. That’s not regulation. That's a moat.
Guardrails will win the day, not walls.
Proud to cheer on Team Clarity at last night’s Congressional Baseball Game with the Ripple team. Whether on the diamond or in digital assets, everyone wins when everyone knows the rules and plays by them. The need for clear rules isn’t partisan. It’s a prerequisite to America winning.
We’re excited to partner with the @basiecenter to celebrate 100 years of music, theater, and arts.
The Basie Center is a nonprofit on a mission to inspire, educate, and entertain. And it’s one of a growing number of places accepting crypto donations. A sign of something bigger: crypto helping support the causes that people care about.
That is the part of the crypto story that often goes untold. The community that it brings together. NCA President @s_alderoty is a proud gala committee member.
Crypto is for everyone. So are the arts. 🤝
