Before 2017:
No one had to pay for incoming calls.

AFTER 2017:
If you don't recharge, you lose incoming calls and messages within a week, and if it continues for a few months, your SIM is deactivated & your mobile number is sold to someone else.

Even if someone lives in a rural area, earns very little, uses a basic feature phone, doesn’t use the internet and only needs to make a few basic calls, they are forced to spend ₹200–300 every month.

This is nothing but blackmailing and open loot from poor people of India.

@TrakinTech This has been their cash flow scam, in my opinion, and has been running for a while. They take your money, sometimes show as shipped - so you can't cancel, but never delivered, and they sit on your money for 2 weeks. Now imagine thousands of orders!! #commerceminister
