A successful validation workshop brought together FSRP’s implementing ministries for the FSRP project. During the session, District Investment Plans (DIPs) for Bosaso, Iskushuban, Gardo, and Galkayo were validated, with agreement on key investments—solar water systems, market infrastructure, and environmental protection—alongside clear policy actions and an implementation roadmap.

The workshop engaged key stakeholders to examine findings, identify gaps and opportunities, and agree on practical, development-oriented actions to strengthen value chains, enhance productivity, and build sustainable food security and resilience across Puntland.

“The campaign started on November 2 and was completed within a 30-day period, reaching 318,098 animals across multiple regions of Puntland” said Mr. Adan Caabi, Director of Animal Health at the Ministry.
