@UPS_Canada hi folks, no link on the delivery page, no ability to respond to the email about the delivery, and so only link I can see is to instagram or twitter or LinkedIn? So here's the issue: I would have just sent to the email or site if there was an obvious Support (1/2)
@PeterPitts An important story, thank you. I had shared your opinion "Making trials more diverse is going to require harder work by CROs, ...be more expensive" but recently https://t.co/AR5o96obxR I made this point and was (nicely) corrected by the panel, who were adamant it needn't be so...
Pfizer Canada is a small branch not meaningfully involved in the vaccine, and is mainly interested in lobbying for better pricing in Canada. The vague spectre of potentially doing more R&D in Canada is just that. The Canadian govt should ignore this.

Teva CEO pretty lukewarm on prospects of the anti-NGF Abs for pain (theirs, fasinumab; and PFE-LLY's tanezumab): "why it's taking so long is, of course, ..safety concerns ...with higher doses, we've seen negative effects on joints. ...still this question about..joint safety."
"And you can, of course, imagine all kind of scenarios where it gets approved with a very relatively broad label, gets approved with a very narrow segmentation, or it doesn't get approved at all... too early for me to say ...it's possible to see a positive risk benefit"
While being flexible/open, Pfizer always helpful with concrete business development guidance, incl Bourla's comments at JPM: "...focusing on Phase 2, Phase 3-ready assets that could become medicines around '23, '24, '25, '26, '27...some bias to [our] 6 therapeutic areas"
FHIR https://t.co/8z0XtlYoTu is being used as the health data standard for the new API of US Centers for Medicare/Medicaid (Blue Button 2.0). So it seems FHIR really is now cast in stone as the de facto standard for health data interoperability in the US.

I'm a bit ashamed to be part of this corner of the pharma industry. What a joke, to offer an insulting few pennies thus, and in such a greasy way. CAD 1 billion, for perspective, is about 5% of Roche's - alone - free cash flow in one year.

Anyone who is still in denial that multi-billion-dollar deals can still, in the end, be driven by personal, even petty, interests and egos, in manners more akin to testosterone-y high school student council election politics than to lofty ideals, read up: https://t.co/YL7SPL4Xmm

Another argument against TAM/SAM/SOM is it's just ridiculously unwieldy and jargony. I thought pharma was bad at three-letter-acronyms! But the main argument made by Garage is cogent: in favour of old-fashioned focus on bottom-up, one-customer-at-a-time.
@OakBayPolice Thank you Oak Bay PD! How about a permanent 30km/h zone at Willows. However, regrettably with 40 zones either side of Willows and Oak Bay High, drivers speed up for Bowker/Cadboro Bay "NASCAR corner" where timid new design (not even started) is based on old thinking (2009 study)
The new "valley of death" in pharma is not discovery to phase I. It is cell therapies/other new modalities for which manufacturing process works well early but isn't scalable to late phase and commercial. Case in point: BMS and Bluebird knuckles rapped https://t.co/84x2CG9mDV
Sadly we all know that BMO and police just wouldn't, ever, be involved in handcuffing a 12 year old girl and her grandfather for trying to open a bank account - unless they were indigenous. Shame on Bank of Montreal/BMO @BMO and Vancouver PD.

@Shawhelp Thank you for this. I see the call button on the attached. We are to interpret this page then as: "Support representatives are available...from 7 am until 10 pm [however if you click the Call button below you can reach 24/7 phone support]".
@Shawhelp hi Shaw we want to make you aware that all internet, phone and TV on our street is broken, presumably something to do with the overhead cable work being done at the end of the street at 2280 Cadboro Bay at the new Bowker development. But your support is closed! :(
