On this #EarthDay, we are reminded that the choices we make today shape the world of tomorrow. 🌎
Let’s take care of our Earth. We only have one, and it’s our responsibility to protect it—for ourselves, future generations and all the creatures that live here.
Let’s choose gratitude, positivity, & kindness this holiday season. As my mom always said: "It's not happiness that makes you grateful, it's gratefulness that makes you happy, and when you're grateful, you find peace in every moment."
Merry Christmas and joyful holidays to all!

Congratulations to Dr. Vera Etches on her appointment as President and CEO of @CHEO. I can't think of a better person to take on this critical role in our community.
Dr. Etches has been a terrific Medical Officer of Health and has navigated many challenges with intelligence and wisdom, including the COVID-19 pandemic.
CHEO, you're lucky to have such a talented leader. We will miss Vera at the City of Ottawa, but it's great to know that she will continue to play a leadership role in our city.

Yesterday, the Legislature debated my bill, the Stormwater Flood Prevention Act, 2024.
I'm hoping we can come together to support new provincial standards that will reduce flooding and protect our homes. The vote is on Monday!
Happy International Women’s Day! The theme in 2024 is “Invest In Women - Accelerate Progress:” a reminder that a women’s success is everyone’s success. #InvestInWomen#IWD2024
Today marks the 4th year since Ottawa declared a Housing and Homelessness Emergency. Be part of the solution and write your representatives. Change happens when we recognize all need a home. Solutions exist to end homelessness. #WeCanEndIt#Ottawa
