Parliament has refuted National Coloured Congress leader Fadiel Adams' claims that he wrote to the National Assembly Speaker about the Political Killings Task Team. Adams briefly appeared before the Madlanga Commission, and he claimed that he could not submit his affidavit on time because his work laptop malfunctioned. Sis Mokwele was a victim of a witch hunt against the PKTT. There was no due diligence to justify an investigation. Everyone who handled the case should be prosecuted as they have damaged Mokwele's reputation. Absent the bravery of Mkhwanazi, we wouldn't know any of this.

EXCLUSIVE LEAD:

A redacted document shown to @eNCA shows that Brig Mokwele couldn't have been late, as suggested by Advocate Peter Serunye, in submitting her application. While Mokwele was on time, it's now been revealed that the closing date for applications was also EXTENDED to 3 May 2024.

ON SAVINGS:
As reported on @eNCA Mokwele documented technical achievements, specifically noting that she had implemented robotic processes and reduced maintenance costs to save over R1 million at BMW. [GRAPHIC BELOW]

Yet some IDAC investigators initially accused Mokwele of fraud, claiming she misrepresented her corporate experience to secure her high-ranking position in SAPS.

According to sources, Advocate Serunye received these documents, among others, within Mokwele's representations.

The assertion by Serunye that Mokwele's application was submitted late and therefore should have been disqualified raises significant concerns regarding the thoroughness of their review process. This prompts an inquiry into IDAC's underlying motives or objectives.

One source said, "Had IDAC approached Mokwele for a warning statement—all of this [documents below] could have been provided to them prior to her arrest."

Advo Daniel Malesela Teffo was acquitted on all six charges that the Legal Practice Council brought against him in 2023. Teffo was struck from the roll, as a result of these charges against him. The LPC must now reinstate him and enrol him again on the roll of Advocates.

They were leaking people's confidential complaints (against the HAWKS) to be paraded in Parliament to fight Advocate Mkhwebane. Endangering people's lives. President Cyril Ramaphosa has received the report of the enquiry into whether Andrew Chauke is fit to continue serving as South Gauteng Director of Public Prosecutions.

The enquiry, chaired by retired Baaitse Elizabeth Nkabinde, was established in September 2025 to investigate allegations concerning Adv Chauke’s fitness to hold office.

Adv Chauke has been suspended since 20 July 2025 pending the outcome.

President Ramaphosa thanked Justice Nkabinde and her panel for their work and said he will study the report before making a final determination on Adv Chauke’s future.

Two foreign nationals are dead after they allegedly stabbed each other in Isithebe during the early hours of this morning.  

According to the SAPS: “Information available at this stage suggests that the two deceased were walking from a tavern under the influence of alcohol when an altercation ensued and they reportedly started stabbing each other. 

One dedeased was found where the incident happened, whereas the other one was found by community members few metres away from the first scene. It is believed that he also succumbed to multiple stab wounds he had sustained.”

Another foreign national - who witnessed the incident - is being questioned by police.

I keep getting questions on a post I posted yesterday, whether Advocate Makhotso Lengane, daughter of Commissioner Sesi Baloyi, forming part of the team of Advocate Ngcukaitobi SC, now Acting Justice of the Constitutional Court, when he represented Minister Senzo Mchunu at Madlanga Commission, constituted a conflict of interest. I went back to get a clip of how Ngcukaitobi introduced his team. He simply made a disclaimer that Advocate Lengane is "known to one of you".

I don't think the Commission would have allowed this if there was any "risk of a conflict of interest" as I believe this is a panel of legal professionals who understand and know better. Even the SC himself would have advised against it I would like to believe. So I can't help anyone who still asks that question any further than this. 😅 However, I know that perception is something that one cannot discount completely. Someone did mention though that apparently everyone at the Commission has taken an Oath of secrecy, so I assume that they all abide by it.

Nevertheless, we do still celebrate the fact that Commissioner Baloyi's daughter is a beautiful, qualified Engineer and Advocate in one. How amazing is that! 🙏🏽😊❤️
