Debating this with Janice was a special moment and so interesting to get to hear from the maker directly the story of an individual piece.

This jug by Janice Tchalenko is a truly unique piece. Janice felt at that time it wasn't possible to create the wide strap handle with a full loop in clay, so she asked fellow CAA member Simone ten Hompel to create a handle from metal.
