Visual validation of our communication satellite LEO constellation design @MaarginResearch - preliminary. We used SaVi tool for this. 324 sats about 1000-1200km altitude.
A 36 degree shell coverage map - Indian latitude coverage prioritised - 12 x 12 sats - walker delta configuration.
A 53 degree shell coverage map - for rest of land mass with most population - 12 x 12 sats - walker delta configuration (exploring Waves design too).
A 82 degree polar shell - completing coverage - 6 x 6 sats - walker star configuration.

@TMFAssociates Eh, when I was at Surrey a guy at ICO funded a masters project, which was partly to evaluate Iridium phone performance in urban and rural settings; call quality, ease of calling, and the like.
