@froginprogress ???
The last 'white' black hair girl is paper heron. But since she is Chinese (and they always view themselves as a 'non-caucasian' white), a more appropriate 'last' black hair girl is probably dark-greenish hair Moldir? Before her is Noire (Chinese), so the last is.. Anjo.
@cristalzer0@agila_merui Especially in 3.8, both of the new characters got hated so much just because of their 'generic white' design. Yet, when they reached global, the both got so loved because people understand deeper lore, more references, etcs.
@cristalzer0@agila_merui Reverse fandom always have this similar case of.. i don't know, complains first before the story and backgrounds? Pickles, Ezra, Lucy, J, 2.2, Lopera, Charon (in CN), Beryl, Ramona (she was being complained for stereotypical 'the blacks alway have cleaning job'), 3.7-3.9.
@Info_Studio1330@agila_merui 1000+ words different can still imply she has more screentime though. It's pretty much different if it comes to the voiced story.
@haja204@InfraReddShift Deadlock has advantage about their lore. Reverse don't. Most of the Arcanists are referencing real life people. The awakened, which have better design overall, are still referencing most of the 'real' things in real life but with costumes. They cannot create a character like baba
@titorpedia@k01ri_@rotten_riot@Bhaktix_k08@InfraReddShift Ulrich and Charon are considered conventional, in term of being humanoid. Though, in other games, they will probably be lower rarities. unit.
The only two unconventional design are pickles and A knight, which, didn't do well. Pickles got complained about looking 'too real' too.
A reminder.
If you actually feel bad for **fictional characters** to the point of severely harassing real people over trivial stuff (like people who yume or simply wanna have fun in general), please step away from social media, something is seriously wrong with you.
@animewatcher28@Ms_Eze1 Do you even live here in Thailand? Because what you said were all gossips. He pays child support, fight to be there in his child's life (even though it's merely days per month), even the child's mother let him visits. If he's a bad guy, we would know. The Thais like him a lot.
@GamerSubcaf7@oud999_sk@KHAMCHANH Khmer Empire doesn't equal Cambodia, Same as the Soviet Union wasn't equal to Russia only. In fact, the history about the mainland countries are deeply interconnected despite a lot of conflicts, they trade, migrated, learned, or even exchanged and adapted many things in the past.
@ShandiYV1@momay4yuu The sarcastic part is strawman, I'll admit. But my main point is to answer to your earlier post as to 'why' we don't do that. Which is already stated before my sarcasm.
If this is still cannot answering your question, I think the translation function maybe the main reason here.
Key difference between BG3 and Veilguard:
Baldur's Gate let your character believe whatever and act however, even to the detriment of the companions and their beliefs.
In Veilguard, your character could not give serious offense to anyone who wasn't a villain. It wasn't allowed.
The former is game design centered on player choice, the latter is — transparently — the writers' ethics forced onto the player character's personality. That's the activism people hated.
