Do you remember 'All Eyes on Rafah'?

This is what Rafah looks like now, 2 years later. The IDF invaded Rafah in June 2024 and systematically destroyed everything that sustained life.

"Israel" is incompatible with humanity.

A bill has been introduced in the Senate to grant blue passports to the children of members of parliament in Pakistan.

Interesting priorities! 🇵🇰

What are your thoughts on this?

Pakistan is owed a huge debt of gratitude for its mediation efforts. The world was collectively holding its breath as President Trump's deadline loomed, with threats to wipe out an entire civilisation.

Another sign that the centre of mediation has moved from Europe, eastwards.

[Saad Ali @Saad41iK]

Not saying the UAE caused it

But its rise (esp Dubai) was clearly enabled by the decline of regional hubs like Beirut and Karachi from 1970 to 1990.

Correlation worth examining 🤷‍♂️

I know that much of the "civilized" world is aware that Gaza's children and their families are being murdered in their tents by the gunfire of Israeli soldiers.
I know the "civilized" world has witnessed the systematic slaughter and incineration of families in their shelters for months on end.

But what I am certain the "civilized" world fails to grasp is that Gaza’s children have been deprived of an education for nearly three years. I was under the impression that this world championed the education of children as an inviolable right.

How do you wake up every morning and take your children or grandchildren to school, yet never utter a word or lift a finger for the children of Gaza?
How do you live with this fact?

I assumed that even if these "civilized" nations were indifferent to children languishing in makeshift tents for over 870 days, they would find it unconscionable for infants to be preyed upon by rats. I am left questioning the moral framework this "civilized" world was raised on.
What finally compels it to action, or what might finally deter it from bankrolling war crimes and crimes against humanity.

This photo was taken this morning. The infant remains in critical condition.

In reality, the headline should read:

“Israel tortured and starved Palestinian child, Walid Ahmad, whom it held hostage under administrative detention, without charge, in its prison.”
