Something important about Hedera that most people don't know: network fees aren't measured in $HBAR — they're measured in **US Dollars**.

How the mechanic works:
Hedera fixes the price of every transaction in Dollars (e.g. $0.0001). It maintains an on-chain file that tracks the current HBAR-to-Dollar exchange rate, refreshed roughly every hour.

What this means for you:
• If HBAR's price rises, transactions on the network actually get *cheaper* in HBAR terms — because less HBAR is needed to cover that fixed $0.0001 fee.
• This is different from networks like Ethereum, where gas fees fluctuate heavily based on congestion.
• For enterprises, this delivers predictable, stable costs — one of the key reasons companies like Google, IBM, and Boeing use Hedera.

This mechanic is one of the core reasons Hedera was built for enterprise use cases, not just speculation.
