I kinda think a cool creative project would have been recreating the scene in The Hobbit where Smaug and Bilbo first meet/talk. It would be so cool drawing or painting the dragan. Especially by a hobbit because the hobbit would be so small. #T503

After your presentation about Sheila being a badass lady which no one would mess with I said to my classmates, "Dang! I wanna be Sheila." #T503
Gandolf alwayals seems to leave when it seems like whoever he is with is in a good place. But then his companions encounter a trial that I immediately think, "I wish Gandolf was there." #T503
The scene where Faramir is being burned because of his dad Denethor reminds me of king Saul and David in the bible. King going crazy and trying to kill someone he used to love that serves him with respect. #T503
I wonder if there is a hotel that was designed to replicate Rivendell. Imagine all the employees and the ears they would have to wear! But man that would be a place I would pay to stay at. Seems so peaceful #T503
I appreciate Gandolf. He is so wise and seems to be all knowing but he will still say, "for i do not know." He is ok with admitting when he doesn't know everything #T503
Biblos since of adventure comes from his mother. A theory of why Tolkien included that detail is that his mother is the one who told him stories and the is the source of his own adventurous spirit #T503
I find it sad but funny how Bilbo was home sick his entire journey but he found it being tornapart. He pictured his house with warmth and familiarity but came back to others taking his belongings away from him. How sad. #T503
I can imagine Tolkien sitting with his kids and telling them the riddles exchanged between Gollum and Bilbo and his kids trying to solve those same riddles. #T503
"'Where's that?' Asked Bilbo.
'Don't interrupt!' said Gandalf"
(Tolkien p. 43)
I can see Bilbo in these scene being treated exactly as a kid does when the "adults" are talking. Asking simple questions but being shut down becaue there is no time for that. #T503
