Attraverso le opere esposte abbiamo ripercorso i viaggi dell’artista a Kabul e il suo rapporto intenso con la popolazione afgana, in una concezione dell’arte come incontro e dialogo interculturale.
Un evento realizzato grazie al sostegno di @ItalyMFA, che conferma l’impegno della diplomazia al servizio della valorizzazione del patrimonio artistico nazionale, nella salvaguardia dell’eredità culturale italiana in Afghanistan.

A special initiative dedicated to Alighiero Boetti (1940–1994) and his deep ties with Afghanistan, within the prestigious setting of @ArtBasel, thanks to @TornabuoniArt.
Through the works on display, we retraced the artist’s journeys to Kabul and his profound relationship with the Afghan people, embracing a vision of art as a space for intercultural encounter and dialogue.
This event was made possible thanks to the support of @ItalyMFA_int , reaffirming the commitment of diplomacy to the promotion of national artistic heritage and to the preservation of Italy’s cultural legacy in Afghanistan.
