If I were a buyer, I'd be happy to buy a beautiful piece from my favorite artist, even if it is a commission
One thing that I sincerely regret is that years ago I was painting in a very severe depression, and my quality of art during this period was so-so
Now I've learned how to take care of myself, and such moments don't happen again
asking this makes me feel a bit scummy, but I'm just curious if anyone else came across a real good artist, impulse commission them, and receive a piece that appears to be half assed and/or of lower quality compared to previous & following pieces?
@saphgriffin Maybe I'm wrong, but it always seemed to me that an artist's work shows whether they are put their efforts into drawing or not
It's hard to say, it's something like an intuitive feeling I guess. I think your customers feel your effort
