قبائل مثل الأزد وكندة وهمدان ومذحج وغافق والمعافر لم تكن مجرد أسماء ضمن تلك الجيوش، بل كانت من أهم القوى القتالية التي صنعت الفتوحات ووسعت حدود الدولة الإسلامية على امتداد قارات كاملة.

اليمنيون لم يدخلوا التاريخ الإسلامي من هامشه؛ كانوا في مقدمة جيوشه منذ البداية.

In 2015, Saudi Arabia intervened in Yemen hoping to push the Houthis, or Ansar Allah, out of Sanaa using airpower, financial resources, and local allies. Eleven years later, Ansar Allah still controls the capital and has expanded its influence along the Red Sea coast.

The Saudi-backed forces suffered from a fundamental weakness: several armed factions shared funding and even a biometric payroll system, but lacked **unified command, joint training, and a common operational structure**. When government forces withdrew from Hayf, the front collapsed, followed by the loss of Mocha.

The result, according to the analysis, was years of Saudi investment producing **rival militias rather than a cohesive army capable of holding territory**.

Ansar Allah now controls significant areas of Yemen’s Red Sea coast and is advancing toward Marib, a key stronghold of the Saudi-backed government and an important oil and gas center. Losing Marib could further weaken Riyadh’s allies while giving Ansar Allah greater leverage over Shabwa and Hadramaut in any future negotiations.

Saudi Arabia’s energy infrastructure is also increasingly vulnerable, with attacks affecting the East-West pipeline and other strategic facilities. Meanwhile, the broader geography is becoming more complicated for Riyadh, with pressure around **the Strait of Hormuz, Bab al-Mandab, and Saudi territory itself**.

The central argument is stark: **Saudi Arabia entered the war to shape Yemen’s political future. Eleven years later, Ansar Allah may have a major say not only in Yemen’s future—but also in the terms of Saudi Arabia’s eventual exit.**
