Exactly a year ago tonight i received a phone call which changed my life for ever. It was about my brother Arshad Sharifs assassination in Kenya. Having been in the news business for over 23 years this was a story which was the most difficult one to break , should i tell the world first or his family.Arshad was a brother and a friend yet after his assasination a full fledge propaganda campaign was launched against me. At first for a couple of days i was taken aback by this baseless campaign but then i asked myself what would have Arshad done if he was in my place , i remembered his words “ bhai we are here to make this world a better place and we shall do what we were created for “. Till date Still some stooges carry this propaganda but i don't care. In the field of investigative journalism he was the best there is and ever will be. Love u my brother Allah tumharay darjaat buland karay..im sure ur in a better place dont worry about the kids they are my responsibility and are well taken care of.

Today i buried my life my little angel who made me a father for the first time . You were the first person to call me Papa. You were special to all of us, you were Sumaiya (PURE) .As i write this message I cant stop my tears , i pray no one has to ever go through this, never give shoulder to his own child and than burry them . Parents are suppose to leave on their kids shoulders not the other way. May Allah give a huge piece of jannah to my beloved Summaiya.
