@DamianWhite42 @superfooty @RalphyHeraldSun I think the concern is it's trending towards more than just the best players. My personal opinion is contract lengths should be capped at 5, with 6 years if you are resigning at your current club. I think that's a good balance for the comp overall

Bad contracts that are touching a decade have far larger and industry wide ramifications than poorly managed annual TPP. Exorbitant contracts can still only fit into an annual hard salary cap. You can't trade 5 future 1sts...

@scottjwillis 7 defenders for 4 positions to me is short. Particularly given injury history of Calafiori, Timber and White. Along with Gabriel serious hamstring recovery and Saliba also hamstring / back. There will be no Zinchenko, Tierney, Tomi fall backs either.

@coachcavcam Don't think you can play May, TMac, Petty, Lever in same backline. None of them do or should play on smalls. Howes plays on small to medium forwards, and at a pinch some bigs. Can only play 1 of TMac or Petty IMO

The G part definitely a factor along with the isolation post game and the days / weeks after. I feel a bit more cheated each year that passes
