A few months ago, we launched this water project in Museng to help address the persistent water shortage affecting the local community.

I am glad to see that the project has since been serving the people well and making access to water easier for families in the area.

For me, this is what meaningful leadership is about, not just launching projects, but seeing them deliver real, lasting impact in the lives of our people.

There is still much more to be done, but every step that improves the lives of our people matters.

Yesterday, I joined the residents of Matumbei for a Boda Boda Empowerment Programme hosted by Hon. Robert Pukose.

Boda boda riders play an important role in our communities. Beyond providing affordable and reliable transport, they support families, connect businesses to markets, and contribute significantly to the local economy.

It was encouraging to interact with our riders, listen to their experiences, and witness an initiative focused on strengthening their livelihoods and creating better opportunities for them.

I appreciate the people of Matumbei for the warm reception and Hon. Robert Pukose for bringing this empowerment initiative closer to our people.

Today, I joined the people of Cheptumbelio, Kinyoro, at Kong’asis Primary School for an Economic Empowerment Programme hosted by the Trans Nzoia County Women Representative, Hon. Lilian Siyoi, with Farouk Kibet as the Chief Guest.

The programme brought together leaders and members of the community in a shared commitment to empowering our people, creating opportunities, and strengthening livelihoods. Economic empowerment remains an important pillar in building stronger families, communities and other groups to become more self-reliant.

It was encouraging to witness the strong turnout and enthusiasm from the people of Kinyoro as such initiatives play an important role in bringing opportunities closer to the people and opening up conversations on how we can collectively build a more prosperous future for our communities.

Today, Hon.Sabila Cherry Julius, The Transformer of Saboti, attended a major Empowerment Programme at Holy Trinity, Saboti, hosted by Trans Nzoia County Women Representative, Hon. Lilian Chebet Siyoi.

The event brought together an impressive line-up of national and county leaders, including Speaker of the National Assembly, Hon. Moses Masika Wetang’ula, with Cabinet Secretary Ruku as the Chief Guest. Also present were Senate Majority Leader Hon. Aaron Cheruiyot, Trans Nzoia Senator Hon. Allan Chesang, Ambassador Susan Nakhumicha, Hon. Nyakundi, and other distinguished leaders.

During his address, Hon. Sabila raised an important issue affecting residents of Saboti—the location of IEBC offices.

He called for the relocation of the Saboti IEBC offices from Kitale Town to a more central location within Saboti Constituency. He noted that a centrally located office would make it easier for residents from different parts of the constituency to access essential electoral services, including voter registration and voter transfers. without travelling long distances to Kitale.

Hon. Sabila further demonstrated his commitment to inclusive community development by supporting Persons Living with Disabilities (PLWDs), youth, and women who were beneficiaries of the empowerment programme.

For Saboti, leadership must be about listening to the people, raising their concerns, creating opportunities, and supporting meaningful development.
