I am deeply moved and genuinely heartened to learn that Sunali Khatun has given birth to a healthy baby boy at Rampurhat Medical College, Birbhum. This moment of joy feels even more profound against the backdrop of the injustice she was subjected to. In a shocking abuse of power, she was FALSELY BRANDED as a Bangladeshi and FORCIBLY DEPORTED TO BANGLADESH by the Delhi Police and the Union Government.

Her ordeal was a violation of dignity that no citizen, least of all a pregnant mother, should ever be forced to endure. Yet, through it all Sunali displayed extraordinary courage and resolve.

This is a triumph of humanity. Tomorrow, during my visit to Birbhum, I will personally meet Sunali at the hospital to convey my best wishes to her and her newborn. My prayers remain with her family.

শুরুতেই আমি সকলকে ‘সংহতি দিবস’/ ‘সম্প্রীতি দিবস’ উপলক্ষে আমার আন্তরিক শুভেচ্ছা ও অভিনন্দন জানাই।

বাংলার মাটি একতার মাটি। এই মাটি রবীন্দ্রনাথের মাটি, নজরুলের মাটি, রামকৃষ্ণ-বিবেকানন্দের মাটি— এই মাটি কখনো মাথা নত করেনি বিভেদের কাছে, আগামীদিনেও করবে না।

হিন্দু, মুসলিম, শিখ, খ্রিস্টান, জৈন, বৌদ্ধ — বাংলায় সকলে আমরা কাঁধে কাঁধ মিলিয়ে চলতে জানি। আনন্দ আমরা ভাগ করে নিই। কারণ আমরা বিশ্বাস করি ধর্ম যার যার, কিন্তু উৎসব সবার।

যারা সাম্প্রদায়িকতার আগুন জ্বালিয়ে দেশকে ধ্বংস করার খেলায় মেতেছে, তাদের বিরুদ্ধে আমাদের লড়াই জারি থাকবে।

There is no duty greater, no responsibility more sacred than public service. With that conviction and with a renewed sense of purpose, Sebaashray 2 begins today, dedicated to safeguarding the health and dignity of the people of Diamond Harbour.

This time, the initiative will span across all 7 Assembly segments, running continuously until 22 January 2026, followed by Mega Camps from 24–28 January, 2026.

Altogether, 165 General Camps and 8 Model Camps will be organised, each one designed to bring quality medical care directly to the people.

As before, Sebaashray will continue to provide:
