The fact that Muslim women in Gaza refused to abide by Israelis' threats to take off their hijabs is the strongest and purest form of feminism I've ever seen in my life, unlike the so-called "feminists" who keep talking about women's freedom and stay silent when it comes to Palestine, Sudan, Lebanon, and other marginalised countries.

They even try to incite violence against hijabi women by distorting their image. Gaza's women are the true heroes. They are free to choose who they want to be and what they want to wear, even against the backdrop of literal death risks.

This is the essence of strength and bravery. May Allah protect our women in Gaza.
