When the 7th ancestor of Abdal Rahman Al Jabarti arrived in Egypt from Bilad Zayla (late 16thc) he sought to marry into prominent Mamluk families in order to enter the elite class and gain influence through intermarriage with noble lineages, a practice the Jabarti family continued until the time of Abdal Rahman.
Hasan Al Jabarti, the father of Abdal Rahman, had married the daughter of the Mamluk prince Ali Agha Pasha Al Mutafaqra and temporarily inherited control over the castles of Al Tur and Suez in the Sinai Peninsula, as well as the castle of Al Muwailih in present day Saudi Arabia.
He also had inherited multiple residences from his late grandmother, he was said to rotate between his inherited homes according to his mood.
Hassan had later married into a rich family in Cairo and had inherited even more real estate and endowments. He was said to be very fond of women and had married many times in his life.
"The Mohammedans, with all their faults, still have the advantage of acknowledging the one true God, and they are free from the absurdities of polytheism and idolatry which have infected so much of Christendom.”
Leibniz - Letter to Thomas Burnett (1697)
@UsingLyft The white elite's ancestors were slave traders. Nothing would change if the mayor were a Black man of immigrant descent whose ancestors were slave traders.
Distorting Somali History Was Never About the Past It Was Always About the Future
When i speak with certain somalis about somali history i am always fascinated by their need for western recognition before they can believe in it.
Its fascinating.
Then i realized
What was taken from Somalis wasn’t just land, trade, or government
It was the authority to define themselves.
Certain Somalis have been trained through war, aid, media, and foreign education
to measure themselves using someone else’s ruler.
Their history must be confirmed by Western historians before it is believed.
Their religion must be defined through Arab or Western politics before it is legitimate.
Their achievements must be filtered, translated, and approved before they feel real.
Even when the evidence is placed in front of them, maps, books, records,
many still hesitate, because they feel unauthorized to believe in their own greatness.
That hesitation is the product of a deeper colonization, mental enslavement.
This didn’t begin in the colonial era.
The real psychological colonization of Somalia began after the fall of the Somali government in the 1990s.
The West used Somali collaborators to destroy national unity
Then flooded the world with images of famine, piracy, chaos not to explain Somalia, but to redefine it.
NGOs replaced institutions. War replaced memory.
And a new message was installed:
“You are incapable of governing yourselves. Accept our framework or suffer.”
Those who obeyed got aid, titles, and offices.
Those who resisted got bombed, sanctioned, or silenced.
When the Islamic Courts Union restored peace in 2006 without Western permission,
the illusion shattered.
So the illusion was violently restored.
The U.S.-backed invasion in 2006 wasn’t just military it was ideological containment.
It was a message:
“Peace is only legitimate if we authorize it. Not you.”
This isn’t just geopolitics.
This is psychological warfare designed to make Somalis forget who they are.
And until Somalis reclaim the authority to define their own history,
they will remain powerful people trapped in a powerless self-image.
The future begins when that illusion breaks.
think about this!
Isn't it strange they could completely defeat the ICU within a year but somehow cant defeat al shabaab in 16 years.
Its all part of the game!

The Kacaan tried moving like a great power while being a Soviet client state & running an impoverished pastoralist-agrarian based economy.
You think the Soviets would just sit back while you invaded a communist ally using the very missiles, tanks, and fighter jets they gave you?
@GongxiYaYa@JiminyCriminy_C@menavisualss They are black, and the word "black" is not limited to the peoples of West Africa and the Bantu, but rather describes all black Hamitic peoples, regardless of their skin color. Currently, many Egyptians do not resemble their ancestors due to mixing.
@GongxiYaYa@JiminyCriminy_C@menavisualss The same thing applies to the people of Sudan and the Horn of Africa, whose skin and colour are lighter than those of the South, but this does not make them anything other than Africans and Hamites.
"The Grand Turk governs peoples of differing religions with a single tax and a wise indifference, while Christian princes drown their realms in blood for the sake of uniformity." Leibniz - Mars Christianissimus, 1683
Puntland warlords have already looted 2500 firearms and ammunition
So the damage is already done
Mogadishu and turkey will do nothing
And we will see if puntland will let the rest go
BUT EXPECT THINGS TO CHANGE DRASTICALLY ON PUNTLAND'S SOUTH AND NORTH!
If any those apc's en 4x4 are seen in motion they will be droned! No nation will allow its stuf to be looted and used!
This has changed the game significantly
Make no mistake deni was ordered to do this
If i was puntland i would keep everything b/c the damage is already done and they will need it!
Its unfortunate that Somalis are being set up against each other by foreign nations but things are about to get extremely violent!
I just hope the innocent people will not suffer!

Somalia is gradually losing its sovereignty, a reality that many of us recognize but hesitate to discuss. This reluctance often stems from a genuine fear of speaking out, or sometimes just a sense of indifference that keeps us quiet.
In less than ten years, we may witness Somalia being torn apart, with our precious resources ending up in the hands of outsiders.
It seems like the world is moving toward a new kind of colonization, where vulnerable nations like Somalia risk being controlled by ruthless forces.
Reversing this path feels almost impossible, as too many people are caught up in division and destruction instead of seeking unity. These ongoing internal conflicts could ultimately turn Somali citizens into servants for those who exploit them. There won’t be any region in Somalia that can escape this fate. It is dead serious.
