A handful of parks are funded and owned by the Royal Family (Crown Estate), with the parks being very well maintained. With such quality of public spaces, an ironic contrary to Malaysia, there is only 1 royal family present to it all.

I believe the high infectious rate of covid cases in malaysia itself also has to do with the poor masterplanning of spaces. Having the opportunity of experiencing both uk and malaysia during the pandemic, i always wondered why people in the uk could go maskless.

It is not then that i realised when i arrived in the uk, despite the double population count & the quick vaccination rate, there were ample of public spaces so huge that are unseen of in malaysia despite the availability of land spaces we have allocated for parks.
