Have you had any recent experiences with FSD just hammering the brake peddle... For a puddle... The road live in gets lots of puddles in it when it rains and FSD is unusable on my road. It freaks out for puddles and a couple times has fully locked up the brakes. Lovely wakeup call bright an early in the morning
I'm not sure if I'm defending it. I'm just saying I'm not sure there's a perfect solution. From the only existing short clip I can see. That car is a light-year behind you and already in the right lane.
Camping as you define it, is "law" in comparatively very very few places. This stuff is still growing it's still leaning. If it isn't this, it'll be something else then. No, it's not perfect. But yelling from a mountain that FSD is bad because of a pretty irrelevant flaw isn't helping anyone. You're turning folks away from FSD instead of being constructive.
On an empty road, being in the left lane is fine(*most* places). If your state or country has a law against that, I think there's more a problem with that law, than FSD.
I drive enough. Believe me I sympathize with the dislike of the slow left lane folks.. but that short clip isn't doing you any favors. All we see is one car a mile behind you.
There's nothing "illegal" about just being in the left lane on an empty road in the vast majority of the US. Left lane camping (as far as I know it) is when there's a caravan of cars behind you and you're holding people up.
The car behind you, is already in the right lane at a significant distance behind you, so why would FSD get right then to now block them (again) these cameras aren't telescopes, they only see so far. I don't think this is an FSD problem, I think this is a mountain out of a mole hill problem. If that car, came up on you at 120, the car would have moved. Anyone that's driven enough FSD has had this happen numerous times and it does it well.
TL:DR, 7 states in the US have foolish laws making it blatantly illegal to be in the left lane unless passing. They're a minority of states because it's a stupid constraint on an otherwise empty road.
I'm sorry, if you're in one of those states, because that sounds like your state has a dumb law and FSD is 'rule of the majority' working just fine otherwise.
@elonmusk is there any considering in baking @X@grok@bot into one app? I love all 3. I use all 3 all the time, but dang, I'm running out of room on my phone's screen because of your wonderful creations.
@JackPosobiec Republicans have failed at nearly everything else they tried. So they're desperately clinging to any crumbs they can to show they did something. Is this a problem. Maybe.. is this top 100 for anyone... Probably not.
Falcon 9 flew more missions in ONE YEAR than the entire Space Shuttle program flew in 30 years
• The entire Shuttle fleet:
135 missions from 1981–2011
• Falcon 9 in 2025 alone:
165 launches
SpaceX exceeded the Shuttle program’s entire lifetime mission count by 30 launches in just 12 months
And Falcon 9 also launched more times than every other orbital launch vehicle combined that year
At the Shuttle program’s historical average cadence, reaching 165 missions would have taken roughly 37 years
Falcon 9 did it in ONE
And the hardware reuse comparison is just as insane:
• Space Shuttle Discovery — 39 flights across roughly 27 years
• Falcon 9 booster B1067 — 37 flights in just over 5 years
B1067 first flew on June 3, 2021
By August 25, 2026, the same booster had launched and landed successfully 37 times
A single Falcon 9 first stage came within TWO flights of the most-flown Shuttle orbiter’s lifetime flight count in about one-fifth of the time
What once took decades of launch operations now happens within a single year of Falcon 9 cadence
SpaceX turned reusability into an industrial-scale operation
@Teslarati Model 3 can accomplish 90% of what the S can.
Model Y-L cannot accomplish what the X did.
Losing the Model X left a pretty obvious gap in their lineup if you ask me.
We just about finished our first month with a @Cybertruck as our new company vehicle.
It's incredibly difficult to call this a @Tesla. I've driven all 4 of the traditional S, E, X, Y models extensively. This truck has ruined all of them for me. The smoothness, the quietness, the power yet nimble'ness of this truck is completely unmatched. The tight turns this thing can make while barely moving the wheel is mind blowing.
I'm so impressed with this truck, especially as a company truck. I run a commercial Electrical Contracting company. This efficiency is amazing. The range is crazy. I'm actually excited to drive to our job sites and not dreading the long drive home anymore.
Well done Tesla. You have created a really special vehicle with this one. I knew I was going to like, however, I didn't think I'd love it as much as I do.
@grok@CarawayDJ@DavidMoss@wmorrill3 Pretty much what I expected. I'm so tired of the minority of the minority's minority making the entire world change for them. This. Isn't. A. Problem. There's nothing to fix.
@CarawayDJ@DavidMoss@wmorrill3 I'll stick my foot my mouth hopefully before grok replies. I'm tired of the world reinventing the wheel for 1 case. Millions in infrastructure for a person being yelled at at a super charger.. people thinking they're in life or death danger because a man glanced at them.
@Lukewearechange This is what happens when you self immolate your credibility. He has no one to blame for his shattered image other than him. He grew to a giant by being seen as honest and telling it how he saw it, then he sold his soul during his incredibly wasteful short term in the Fed.
@IgorShcherbatov Soo... What are they gonna do about it to "never make it happen again". Nancy's wrists gotta be getting sore at this isn't from the slaps.
