@draevans I am still waiting on tribunal but was told that just because I have both autism and adhd diagnosis doesn’t mean I get it. Fine but 0 points? Anyone that ever tried to fill that form in knows how difficult they are and I struggled to describe how it affects me. Why? 39yrs no dx

@draevans I’m 40 years old and only got diagnosed less than a year ago. I always knew something wasn’t the way others saw everything but managed somewhat. What I have is autism, ADHD and anxiety and depression. Waiting on tribunal because having diagnoses doesn’t count. Stressful

@CPMumma79 About 6 years ago I was carer to 3 people, my son, undiagnosed then, late husband and a family friend in her early 80s. Her SW sent child services because my late Husband apparently didn’t have a diagnosis, I refused to answer her qu about him 🙄none of her business

@RachelAdamSmith @Keir_Starmer I’ve always called myself a cheap carer. At one point I was looking after 3 people with different needs. Even had a few hours a week working just to get a break from that. Now I quit my job because I’d be paying to get to work and lose CA anyway on UC.

@sebastiansalek Being able to earn more is all good and well as a carer but it doesn’t solve the mental pressure you live day in day out. CA is pittance money for what is done it’s 24/7 not just 9-5 🤷‍♀️

@Shrink_at_Large When we had to migrate from esa to uc my side was fine (unpaid carer) however my late husband who I was carer for got a work coach 🤦‍♀️ I rang them and had to sort it out fit note and all just in case I had to get for him.

@Shrink_at_Large I’ve finally got my autism and adhd diagnosis… soon as the psychiatrist said that she added to apply for PIP. I had already as I’ve been in pain ever since I’ve broken my ankle years ago it’s ongoing… sent in all the evidence and still get to go to tribunal 🤦‍♀️ anxiety ⬆️
