@HMRCcustomers Self Assessment refund. I've called about 20 times to get it escalated, made a formal complaint (online and by post) and nothing has been resolved in 8 months...

@HMRCcustomers I've pushed a complaint and an investigation to HMRC about a tax refund I was owed in Feb but never recieved. HMRC claimed it had been cleared (bank confirmed it definitely hasn't). I was supposed to get a reply by the 3rd Oct and they still haven't responded.

@HMRCcustomers Today about an hour ago, but I’ve called 10+ times over the past 3 months. Two of my calls today got hung up when they went to look into my account. When I finally got through to somebody they told me their systems were down.
