Be aware when driving southbound on Sunrise Blvd near Wildridge Dr. A stretch of the right lane & sidewalk are closed for emergency repairs to the sound wall. No estimation when the lane will reopen. Watch for lane merger signs posted near the closure.

Traffic Alert - SacDOT is replacing the New Hope Road Bridge at Grizzly Slough Project. New Hope Road will close from Orr Road to W. New Hope Road between 4/10/26 through 11/30/26. Access will be maintained for residents during construction.

We held a ribbon cutting today for the Watt Avenue Complete Streets Project. Supervisor Rich Desmond was on hand to highlight the County’s efforts to improve the roads.

SacDOT has closed the following roads due to flooding.
Cherry Ln. from Elkhorn Blvd to Curved Bridge Rd
Curved Bridge Rd from Dry Creek Rd to Oak Ln
Call 311 if you see flooded roads. Turn around don't drown.

*Kiefer Blvd* between Jackson Rd. (HWY 16) to Kiefer Landfill

The roads will be slick as we ring in the new year. If you are out and about, give the driver in front of you extra time on the roads. Remember to avoid flooded roads and down trees. Call 311 and let County crews removed the problem.

Both westbound and eastbound traffic on Elder Creek Road will be directed to Fruitridge Road.

Tomorrow at 7 p.m., all lanes of Elder Creek Rd from Florin Perkins Rd to South Watt Avenue will be closed & reopen the following Monday at 6 a.m. to allow railroad crossing repair at the Elder Creek Rd railroad crossing (At the "Star").

The Sutter Slough Bridge is closed in both directions until Friday 9/19 at 5 pm. It will close again from 9/22 - 9/26. The bridge will be open to traffic during the weekend. #bridgesofsacramentocounty #bridge #SacCounty
