It is uncanny how similar the current version of the Georgia Tech Football is to the new era of Detroit Lions -

1. Former incompetent Head Coach leaving the team in shambles (Geoff Collins vs Matt Patricia)
2. Bring in new culture changing head coach who believes in building the team through the trenches (Brent Key vs Dan Campbell)
3. Highly recruited QB rejected by former team finds new life with a change of scenery (4 star top 50 recruit Haynes King vs #1 overall pick Jared Goff)
4. Offensive Coordinator who started as a quality control guy is now one of the hottest names in the league (Buster Faulkner vs Ben Johnson)
5. A front office executive who values winning and is willing to take risks (J Batt vs Brad Holmes)
6. Finding top tier recruiting and draft classes that can change the future of the program (GT 2025 Recruiting Class vs Lions 2023 Draft Class)

With a favorable schedule with a good mix of easy wins and resume building wins in 2025, the Jackets are going to make a push for not just an ACC title game but for the CFB Playoff

Looking for some optimism after A.J. Brown's slow start?

Slow Start: Brown has just 9 catches for 101 yards, with a 45% catch rate and a -15.9% catch rate over expected.

Hope: @SachdevaDivij made a great comparison on @FoxFellasPod last night. Stefon Diggs had just 13 catches for 112 yards in his first three games with NE last season.

I like breaking the season down into chunks and here is how I will break the last 10 games down for the Patriots -

Chunk 1 - @ Dolphins, vs Packers, vs Lions (intl), @ Chargers (off a bye) - Gotta go 3-1 or better here

Chunk 2 - vs Bills, vs Vikings (TNF), @ Chiefs - Gotta go 2-1 here. 1-2 doesn’t kill us

Chunk 3 - @ Jets, vs Broncos, vs Miami - Gotta go 2-1 or better here

Gotta keep getting healthier and keep stacking good weeks. 11-6 or better is very much in the cards

I might be in a minority here but I am not too worried about AJ Brown

His lack of immediate production, albeit frustrating, is justifiable because of his injury as it’s pretty easy to tell he is still not trusting his ankle.

Stefon Diggs last year for the Patriots, also coming off an injury, had only 112 yards thru his first 3 starts including a 23 yard dud in the loss to Pittsburgh

I think AJ should gain some momentum coming off this mini bye and should be at 100% after the bye week

Summed it up pretty well! I don’t care how much speed you have, if you’re trying to be a one cut explosive runner in the NFL, your ability to cut within 5 yards of the line of scrimmage needs to be near perfect
