It was fun to gather @lotuscuisine01 on the Election Night for our watch party. I have deep gratitude for those that voted, and for the hard work done by amazing volunteers. This win was a team effort.
I wanted to share a special and warm thank you to Julia— my campaign manager. While working on the campaign during her last semester, she also managed being an outstanding student in Dominican University.
Congratulations and thank you Julia from the bottom of my heart.
Get your ballots in by 8pm today if you haven’t already! Thank you to my wonderful sign holders for spreading the word, and thank you to my daughter Sara for painting signs.
Thank you for taking the time to evaluate and interview the candidates and weigh in on this race. I appreciate all of the support from local organizations.

State of the City event last was phenomenal. Mayor Kate’s ‘State of the City’ speech dug deep into values, @Samantha Ramirez was aptly awarded the Citizen of the Year. 300 people at a Monday night street party, with food from IL Davide, was a night to remember.
Thank you Lori Davis for taking the time to write about the work we have been doing together at Sanzuma.
