🔴 BREAKING: Israel says it will suspend 37 humanitarian organizations operating in Gaza starting Jan. 1, claiming they failed to comply with new Israeli vetting rules, according to the Associated Press.
The affected groups include some of the world’s best-known aid organizations, among them:
▪️ Multiple branches of Doctors Without Borders
▪️Oxfam affiliates
▪️CARE
▪️Norwegian Refugee Council
▪️ International Rescue Committee
▪️World Vision.
Israel’s military aid authority, COGAT, says the listed organizations bring in less than 1% of aid entering Gaza and insists assistance will continue through groups that received permits. Aid agencies strongly dispute Israel’s claims, saying the rules are arbitrary, risk endangering staff, and will massively constrict humanitarian operations in an already devastated enclave. While they do not contribute significantly in bringing aid across the border, they are decisive in the operations on the ground. More on that in the post below 👇
Calls are growing to release Palestinian protester Leqaa Kordia, who was arrested at a Columbia University protest in 2024. Although that charge was dismissed, she was later detained at an immigration check-in and sent to an ICE jail in Texas, where she has been held since March.
“Israeli forces have killed 706 RELATIVES of journalists in a deliberate effort to turn journalism into an existential threat, forcing families to pay the price.”

Rep. Wesley Bell explains why he took millions from AIPAC’s billionaire backers: “If people wanna support what we’re doing, hey, we’ll take it… Money is flowing everywhere… If you want representation that’s gonna represent your district… We gotta understand there’s a game being played.”
Now U.S. Rep. for Missouri’s 1st District, Bell won after his campaign drew over $8.5M from pro-Israel lobbying groups —that supported Israel's genocidal campaign in Gaza, including AIPAC’s United Democracy Project—to unseat pro-Palestinian progressive Cori Bush.
Israeli protesters have blocked the Yakum Junction on Route 2, north of Tel Aviv, calling for a deal to secure the release of captives and bring an end to Israel's war in Gaza.
🚨BREAKING/HORRIBLE: In Gaza, Samia Shahin went with her young son to bake bread when an Israeli tank opened fire.
Her little boy Ahmed raised his hands to show they were civilians, yet both were killed. Attempts to evacuate her on a cart failed.
In recent weeks, she had already lost her husband, two sons, and two brothers.
NEW: Reuters calls its own camera a “Hamas camera” in a headline about Israel’s initial findings in its “Inquiry” into the murder of a Reuters journalist — killed in the first round of a double-tap strike on Gaza’s Nasser Hospital yesterday, along with 4 other journalists.
This camera should be exhibited one day in the Genocide Memorial built in memory of the innumerable victims of Israel's genocide in Gaza.
Shame on all journalists not raising their voice against the massacre of their brave Palestinian colleagues while documenting the genocide.
Trump may wind-up being the biggest war president of them all. He’s declaring war on the American people right now. We’re waiting for many of you to wake up.
BREAKING: The Democratic National Committee just voted down a resolution calling for an arms embargo on Israel. The Democrats are on the wrong side of history and complicit in committing genocide. This is vindication for everyone who voted 3rd party and left this genocidal party.
Jeremy Scahill told Al Jazeera’s Steve Clemons that the chance Hamas might surrender is “zero.”
Hamas, he said, is an indigenous movement born of decades of oppression, not a foreign implant. Eliminating Hamas won’t end the struggle, he explained, because Palestinians see armed resistance as a sacred right tied to preventing their people from being wiped out.
