Rep. Thomas Massie, a Kentucky Republican who lost his primary to a Trump-backed challenger, introduced eight articles of impeachment against Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth on Tuesday, accusing him of defying Congress over the Iran war, suppressing free speech and committing other offenses.

Under Tuesday's motion, the GOP-led House must vote on the impeachment articles in the next two days. Massie said he did not tell anyone that he planned to introduce the impeachment articles because GOP leadership "might have canceled" some voting days. https://t.co/AcDaxEwpRj
